Up to $500 here as well, even though I’ve never made a deposit.

(edit: though perhaps an Envato bonus I got years ago is counted as my ‘deposit’)

This past weekend I went to Florida for a funeral – and I love my iPad.
Reading this sentence conjured an image of a small, black-clad crowd listening to a priest at a cemetery, the solemn mood broken only by a young man in the center, intensely playing Angry Birds on his iPad, occasionally lifting the white tablet to snap some pictures to be shared on Instagram. XD

Wow – amazing achievement for these five years! To me the coolest part is that all this success didn’t stray Envato from the same core principles that it was built upon. Glad to be a tiny part of it.

Congrats guys! _

A green roadsign, blue skies, white clouds. Looks like the ideal stock photograph, until you notice that other “photos” show the exact same white clouds and a green roadsign identical to that first one, down to the smallest dents and scratches. A glance at the author’s portfolio reveals hundreds of such images that overlap perfectly, save for the changing text on the signboard.

This begs the question: what constitutes a photograph for the purpose of selling it on Photodune? An actual picture snapped with a camera and undergone minimal editing? A photo-montage of blank elements with text photoshopped onto them? A photorealistic computer-generated image?

Just wondering if what I saw is an anomaly or is it standard practice. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads-up, Amanda! :)

It might be worth uploading one just to see if unique CS5 features help sales or not.

Cool! After the ‘featured in a podcast’ badge, now people will be recognized for appearing in other media as well.

You guys might want to adjust the transparency of the new badge background though: on the badges png spritesheet the new icon has a solid background color, unlike the fully transparent backgrounds of the rest. Since that background is a bit darker than the page background, it kinda sticks out on John’s page too. ;)
