I want to increase the impact of the advertising on one of my websites by creating a ‘floating’ sidebar type thing.

I want the widget similar to ‘Sharebar’, so when the user scrolls down the page, the widget/advertising area will drag down with them.

here is an example of what I am looking for (notice how the 3 ad spots are following the user down the page like the sharebar plugin is): Hi res

It doesn’t need to be a plugin or anything special, it can simply be hardcoded into my theme (if that’s the right term to use)

If you could so kindly do this for me, please message me via my profile with a quote for how much you’ll charge.

Thank you!

(ps, put this in All Marketplaces for a bit more exposure, wasn’t sure whether to go CC or TF)

This is actually pretty easy to do with just some simple CSS . Just create a container with your ads and then give it position:fixed.

Sample, if your ads container is e.g.

then add to your CSS :

.ads { position:fixed; }

Cheers

Chris

Thanks for your input Chris :)

I have managed to do it now thanks to the plugin I posted and @aaranmcguire’s super slick dev skills :D

Now I just need to rearrange my sidebar widgets to suit :)
