@xstortionist ... I can’t find your facebook page link … ! Umm…![]()
If they let me post a link to it, I will. I just don’t want to break forum rules for self promotion.
Mods, is it okay if I post a link to my Facebook page for these guys to check out?
Thanks!
PS: I have 1,880 fans right now.![]()
Just add your facebook page link in your marketplace profile page…
Thanks…

Good idea! I just posted it to my profile page, first thing that pops up on the page. Go check it out and smack the like button if you don’t mind!

I prefer getting “likes” the old fashion way, can’t get more targeted than the people who like your page for your work. Thoose are the returning customers that brings revenue to one’s business.
However, I do see the value of the “targeted” you speak off, xstortionist, but it’s nothing for me as I prefer that people who likes my page do it due to the love of my work. Then if it takes me a lot longer time to reach the likes you get, it’s still a fun ride and it’s the hunt that’s the most fun, not the catch.
If you don’t know how to add your social network links … !
Just go… My settings = Your social networks = Now add your social networks username or id ... then save it… That’s all…
And about your page… I already like it…
Thanks. I love Motorcycles…

People who like your work is good too but with Facebooks demographic & interest targeting, you are reaching more targeted fans than you could ever reach by good olde word of mouth. Plus, if you’re not dealing with consumer goods that keep customers coming back purchasing on a monthly basis, those fans are really not as targeted as you may think.

Thanks for the info SB. This year has been crazy for me and my partners. I haven’t had time to sit down and really enjoy life, and most importantly spending time with my family (My son just turned 1 years old on the 31st of January).
I haven’t really been doing anything for GraphicRiver for a while now due to the excessive amount of sales we’ve been getting this year. I just quit my full-time job 2 weeks ago and now I’m working for myself full-time. It’s a lovely feeling.
Alright guys, my wife is practically grabbing me by the shirt to go for our ride. I gotta go before I get thrown into the dog house. I’ll give you all an update later this evening.
PS: at 1,923 fans right now! CRAZY !

Well, I get tons of traffic from my Facebook fans every time I post something new. Besides, in a months time my facebook likes have increased with over 300% and growing everyday. For me a challenge is more fun rather than the goal itself. It’s the thrill of the ride that gives something to strive for.
Also, for everything I release my fanbase grows a bit, might not be with a 100 or even 20 likes, but it still grows and that’s what makes it fun for me.

Whilst I’m not trying to discredit whatever method you’re using to get your fans, X, I agree with Patrik.
You can’t get more ‘targeted’ than organic traffic, loving you and your brand so much, that they choose to Like it and interact.
As you can see here, whilst your page may have significantly more fans than the other pages shown, it also has significantly less people talking about it.
As I said, I am not discrediting whatever it is that you’re doing, but I can’t see how using some sort of formula can result in a more targeted userbase than people who have actively tried to seek out your content and brand.
Aaaannnyway, let’s keep this on topic and see who else wants to get involved!
350 million people may disagree with me…. but Facebook is dead!... just sayin’!
