It looks like something went wrong on the page you were accessing. Our development team will be notified of the issue automatically, however if you require assistance please contact the support team who will be happy to help.

Or you can get totally distracted from what you were trying to do and click on one of these two big shiny buttons …

What on earth?

I uploaded 12 objects but 13th keep displaying me this… Why!? I uploaded all files but when click on SUBMIT I get this… 4 times…

Browser, Version and connection speed/type. We need that information, and probably so will support in case you contact them. Try changing the brwoser, using the retro-uploader or, if everything else fails, blow a hole in the screen. The last one worked for me, but maybe you’re luckier.

Cheers! :)

I’ve experienced this problem a few times before djnick. Don’t worry your not the only one. What I did was either wait a while and try re-uploading or tried a different browser. I usually use Chrome but sometimes have to go to FireFox or IE to get the items to upload.

I’ve uploaded items before and the site says it has been uploaded successfully, they show in the uploads list for a second then disappear.

My advice is try it again and if your still having problems contact support.

This problem has been around for a while now across all the marketplaces. Of course it is most frustrating for those of us with big file sizes. The uploader is on our list of things to improve and will eventually be replaced by a better one.

What I usually do when the uploader does act up on me is I copy my item title, description and tag words to a text document and then refresh the page. Your uploaded files will then most likely have disappeared. Upload something small like the thumbnail again and suddenly all your previously uploaded files will be back in the list. Reassign them to the right slots and it should work.

I know this is a nuisance and authors should not have to go through so much trouble to get their items up on the page. Improving the upload process is very high up on our to do list.

ok… this may help and has worked for me 100% of the time now.

First I have used this method with Firefox and IE with uploaded files at 300+ mb

What I do is first of course click on MY ACCOUNT :)

Then I click the UPLOAD CATEGORY and then BUTTON

Now, then I click MY ACCOUNT once more, select the UPLOAD CATEGORY again and then the UPLOAD button.

I then upload all my files and fill in the necessary information!!

Whether I am being superstitious or not this method has worked for me with no problems! Before this method I would find myself getting the same error page over and over again until it decided to go through!!

Try this and let me know if it helps :)

Yep, I’m doing exactly the same thing, and it most often works like a charm… djnick’s issue happened to me a few times as well, but generally it got worked out either through firefox over chrome, or the other way around, or simply through a refresh and the Matthias’s idea. One minor thing though… after the refresh only SOME files reappear, usually the double thumbnail and one more, never the big ones :D

Cheers!

That is why I do the initial refresh before I upload or enter any information! Has been working wonderfully for me with absolutely no problems!!

Omg :((((

Ok, I tried to upload stuff from work – the same. I used Opera there. No help.

Then I arrived home & tried 11 times [!!!] to upload everything – all files are there BUT the moment I click UPLOAD button I keep getting this horrifying screen that SOMETHING went wrong…

I really have no idea what to do. 11 times is a very long period of uploading 28mb file[s]...

To make clear – all files upload well. They are still there when go to UPLOAD . They didn`t dissapear. The only problem is this – SOMETHING – that goes wrong each time I click on Upload button :(

I am now scared to click on upload button :S

Please, somebody from “stuff” – can you login as me and go to upload. You will see my files there. Try to see what is wrong, please?

I am having Win7 at work and latest Opera and here at home WinXP sp3 trying hard to upload from Laptop [everything went all well in past, this is the first time I get these errors] where I tried from latest FireFox and Opera. It would not work from IExplorer V6 here and upload even would not click… I guess website is not compatible with IE…

:(

Thanks but the problem is not about dissapearing stuff I upload, but appearing “SomethingWentWrong” message after I click on Submitt…

Yes I have all files copy/pasted in .txt file, but still 11 times is a large amount of tryouts :(
