What it does:
Generates a realistic ‘ribbon’ of smoke like cigarette smoke, Offer consolodated user-friendly dynamics controls through the main emitter Outputs mesh – no render issues Generate smoke ribbon at any size and thickness. Runs FAST Reacts to any dynamic fields and mesh operators User Friendly! Just hit play and you’ve got Smoke Strings!
What it CANT do:
Have smoke ‘Break apart’ – the ribbon must be one long continuous stream without holes in it) Have smoke Start, stop and start again.
This is an update to my earler smokestrings generator – this one works better and without the use of any scripting. I have been puzzling over this type of smoke generator for years and now it is ready! I find it most useful for cigarette smoke, but it can be used for any type of ribbon-smoky effect, and I’m sure there are other uses waiting to be discovered.
