With this data package you’ll get the 3d files to print a Turbine as seen in my YouTube video: https://youtu.be/kQswSftr9UE . There are four files (wing, arm, hub_a, hub_b) in two formats (.obj, .stl) The parts are prepared to be printed on a small 3D printer like the Micro3D considering a build volume of 100 mm. To build a Windturbine like the one in the video you have to print the parts “wing” and “arm” six times, and the part “hub_a” once. The part “hub_b” is the same like “hub_a” except of the holes wich have a 30 degree offset. It can be used to print two or more of these turbines and attach them to each other with a 30 degree offset. If you print the parts unchanged, you’ll get a turbine wich is 530mm in diameter and weights only about 350 grams. Perfect for small wind-, and high torque water applications. Use bigger 3D printer and scale up the parts for bigger turbines. For example if you use the Ultimaker 2, wich has a build volume of about 220mm, you’ll get a very huge turbine with 1166mm in diameter. If you use Wind- or Solar for electricity, have some kind of filament maker like the redetec protocycler and feed it with waste plastic, you can make turbines virtually for FREE!
