In 1962 the Dutch company Phillips invented the mythical Cassette Compact. This recording device was designed to record voice dictations, its great fidelity of recording managed to expand its horizon of exponential sound use, until it became a standard audio format, as was the vinyl record, the Phillips company under pressure from companies Japanese like Sony chose to donate their patent so that other manufacturers could design their version for sale, until practically the beginning of the 21st century, cassettes with different qualities continued to be designed and manufactured, nowadays, it seems to have a great appeal among lovers of the sound world.
The Best Cassette Ever Made
According to the best HI-FI audio experts the Sony Metal Masters Cassette is one of the finest metal position recording / playback “specimens” ever made. The Type IV formulas are impressive enough on a platform with the right capacity, but the super metals prevail in a way that transcends the standards of the best in class metals. The housings are physically better as they are manufactured with great precision and the materials used, combined with the total mass, provide a level of microphone damping beyond the reach of smaller manufactures. The porcelain hybrid composite case for Sony Metal Master was outsourced to a company / management in Cologne, as clearly indicated on the metal case. A source from Naktalk once said they were made for Sony in Meißen-Triebischtal, the famous porcelain factory near Dresden.
The cassette tape at this level and especially in a machine capable of exploiting it, plays violin seconds to no other format.
