Great Work, Is there any chance that you have a workable version for 3D Max 2012 64bit ?

Hi ! sorry but I wrote this script for Maya only , :) if you are using Max , I think there are some really good plugin for Hair already on max ( like Ornatrix )

Could you record a higher qualty tut video

I got a questions. Does anyone know if that Plugin works on Maya 2013?! Thank you!

bro oi, co’ work tren maya 2013 ko :3

Hi, will it work in MAYA 2013? If yes, you can update your description, so nobody will need to ask this question again. ;)

Hi , Sorry but no it is not compatible for Maya 2013 . However you can build the Hair using GMH in 2012 or 2011 then open it in 2013 .

Hi , GMH2 is released now , which is supported by maya 2013 and 2014 :) !

Hi, will this product work in Maya 8.5? If so, then I will buy it =)

HI , I havent tested it on Maya 8.5 yet , known compatible with Maya 2009 to 2012 so far .

Hi , GMH2 is released now , which is supported by maya 2013 and 2014 :) !

I’ve done everything I know to do to get this to work, but I can’t get it. I opened the script editor and added it to the shelf but it said syntax error, I put the gui right next to the creator in the script editor and it still said gui not found. I’m really new to Maya and I know this script could be a huge lifesaver for me, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get it to show up.

Hi , I suggest you read the INstruction file that goes along with the script :) . basically , you can put all the scripts file into “GMH” folder under Maya script directory in your user ’s document folder. then just drag and drop the GMH_creator.mel file into Maya , it will run :)

can’t you update for maya 2014? pleasee :)

Hi , GMH2 is released now , which is supported by maya 2013 and 2014 :) !

maya 2014 please.

Hi ! I am currently working on GMH version 2 which will be compatible with Maya 2013 and 2014 .

That’s great. We truly appreciate it. Any idea how much longer it’s gonna be taking?

if everything goes well base on my schedule it would be end of Jan 2014 :)

Outstanding Work. I have a doubt, a regular licence is enough for using this for my 2 online projects?

Hi ! , yes as long as it being used by one machine and you only :) .

Can it use the current mesh for hair or do we have to create a new poly mesh every time ? And suppose if the mesh is double sided then can we control not to create a hair on the other side of the mesh? Please let me know.

Hi , for GMH v1 yes you can use current mesh for hair , you will have to follow all 4 conversion steps to create Maya Hair from Mesh ,

also for double side meshes it doesnt matter GMH as it just create Hair Follicles that float on a mesh 's surface.

I suggest you use GMH2 instead , which is more specialized in hair modeling :)

Thank you for the reply.Just one last thing.Does this purchase link here which is 30 USD have the latest GMH2 version ?

ah , no. the 30$ one is GMH1 , please go to this one instead : http://3docean.net/item/gmh2-hair-script/6979012ref=phungdinhdung THank you :)
