This is a model of a wrist watch. It is modeled using polygon modeling and is fully unwrapped.
The base mesh is 127.812 triangles and 683.740 triangles once turbosmooth is applied on all different parts with 2 iterations. Every part of the watch is a single object (lugs, markers, crown, pushers, case, crystal, etc..).
The MAX file format allows you to remove the turbosmooth modifier applied to get the low poly base mesh and change easily the look of the watch.
The FBX and OBJ formats contain the base mesh, you may subdivide it to get smoother results. If you import the OBJ remember to import it as separated objects.
The model has material IDs and smoothing groups set. It’s easy to change colors or shaders on a specific part of the watch, each shader has a specific name to understand which part it is assigned to.The Max file contains the full scene with materials, camera and lighting setup using V-Ray. The scene doesn’t use global illumination.
