Is it possible to animate this on a html webpage? And if so, do you know which software is needed?

Fli which is flash file format possibly work. After effect would be good to convert any file format.

Very well done and realistic high quality Rubik´s Cube.

I have seen already many model that try to make this cube but are not really well done and are not realistic as this one, I think that this is one is the best I have seen from lots of 3D models websites and many other internet websites.
