Hi tomislavn, first of all very good job! I’ve just purchased your item and didn’t found any document in folder so we guys want to know how to apply C4D file on model.
Dear parmarthmori,
First of all thank you very much for your purchase. I am not sure that I have quite understood your question. How you you mean apply c4d file on the model?
There should be .c4d files for all colors. You should just open each file in Cinema 4D and use it.
Best regards, Tom
Do you have a Element3D version available?
I’ve tried pulling into Element3D with no success, I’m currently trying to bake the textures and import the phone that way, but it’s making quite a mess of it.
Thank you.
Dear hpwg, thank you for your purchase. Let me get to my computer and I will check what I can do to help you. It was not meant to be used in Element3D but I am using it occassionaly for my AE work so I might figure something out for you
Btw, you could check this tutorial about preparing models for Element3D until I get my hands on it if you want:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z-THfWu9h0Oh and one little trick, if your imported model in Element3D comes all black (black silhouette) – try this: On the object (not the material) check the box for “Auto Normals.” I had that problem once with some model importing from C4D to Element3D. Hope it helps
Thanks for the reply. I baked and imported into Element3D. Looks okay, but not great. I know you didn’t make it for Element3D so I completely understand. If you did manage to get a *.e3d model saved, I’d love to buy it. Otherwise, thank you for your help.
Dear hpwg, I have finaly managed to get some extra time to try this in AE.
I have exported the phone model in .obj format and it loaded absolutely perfect in After Effects CC (Element3D 1.6 version). Only thing that I had to redo was the materials, since it doesn’t support material import.
Check the screenshot. Model is 100% correct just like in C4D.
