Ahh this is so cute and just in time for Easter. Love you lighting setup.

Are you modelling each brick? Because over and LDraw.org and LeoCAD (which is released under the GPL ) you have every block and piece at your finger tips and can export to .obj format

Yes I modelled all the bricks individually myself a few years back now. I like to know all my models are my own. I also have a collection of Lego bricks in my portfolio.
