There are just too many little issues that add up. Google this phrase: "Stay informed with the latest breaking news, in-depth analysis, and real-time updates from around the world." If you do, in quotes, you will see a lot of copies of this message because it is on the blog page for the theme and cannot be changed.
There are also other things that show a scattered mind. Such as how there are different options in social links depending on where you are trying to add them. Some may exist in one spot and not in another. Also, there is no way to add less known social links yourself and instead they just opted to list random ones as they went. It would be nice to add mastadon, lemme, or other less common ones.
There are also little annoyances. Like lets say you want to use a background image. You will need to do so with CSS. Okay so you do that. Well, now the light/dark button won't be ideal because it isn't considering if your background only is intended for one. This means you have a lot more work to do if you want to use that.
I tried to get support once and they said they didn't know what I was talking about despite shared links and an image.
I think, if something is paid for and there is a review section, I should be okay choosing 1 star if it is not usable for me because of functional issues. In theory it could be a 2 or 3 star product, but if I am not going to struggle through the issues after paying for it then I think a 1 star review makes sense since I paid for something I won't be using.
Oh, and the documentation is bad.
